“I like living in Australia now, and I like the people here and their attitude to life. I have learnt how I roll my life, how I like to keep doing things I like, through living in Australia for last 15 years. For me, the time I have spent in Australia can be seen as a ‘holiday’ because it's been such a surreal experience since I left Japan. Also it is where my life direction has changed and I've become sort of brainwashed in a positive way. Now I have family here and I want them to grow in this brilliant country, so I've decided to live here for good – which can be my ‘Permanent Holiday’. That is why I decided on ‘Permanent Holiday’ as the title of exhibition. I wanted to explore something fun and quirky but still communicating my perspective and experiences.“

'RUMBLE’ is a dual art show and pure visual experiment by Ben Brown and Kentaro Yoshida. Like two skeletal fighters, the art is stripped back to its barest elements. Sparring together on the same canvas the work merges and resists their two distinctive styles creating unexpected visual outcomes. One night only art show RUMBLE was proudly sponsored by Adobe and Young Henrys.

"SOLO" is second solo art show at GOODSPACE.
It is based on my past 12 years of being solo in overseas without family, friends and language.
We’re all born with free-mind and free-spirit: solo. No matter our situation, from our first moment until our last we shape our world, reflecting what we find within. Solo explores the inner workings of Kentaro Yoshida, baring his bones and crafting his world.

Undulation is the ups and downs of a life lived drinking. The euphoric highs of the peaks and the painful regrets of the troughs. Each day is a new: as we are intoxicated, we liven like a plant absorbing sunlight, but the thirst for reaching new highs only leads to new lows — the poison, like a viper, brings us down lower than we ever were before.
